Through the Thriving Communities Initiative, our place-based philanthropic approach, we unlock philanthropic capital to leverage the assets and potential of everyday citizens to contribute.
Our Approach
GIC Thriving Communities Fund
Flexible funding of up to $10,000 supports community-led and ground-up initiatives meeting unseen or unmet community needs in the neighbourhood. This enables local residents to design and lead initiatives with and for their own community.
Catalysing Broadly
We envision a more thriving and connected Singapore by equipping, supporting, and mobilising more community builders. This is enabled through capacity building platforms such as Training, Communities of Practice, and Resilience Trails.

VENTURE BUILDING
Venture building anchors Majurity’s efforts to grow a more vibrant and resilient impact ecosystem—to accelerate emerging nonprofits and develop enterprising organisations, and to test social financing tools that unlock sustainable impact.
We do this by deploying fit-for-purpose capital and strategic advisory at pivotal stages of an organisation’s growth journey.
This builds on funding initiatives such as the New Horizon Fund, Momentum, and T-Ignite, which support grantee partners in strengthening core operations, deepening resilience, and growing their impact.
Ultimately, when organisations are more sustainable, people and communities are better served and experience meaningful, measurable improvements in their lives.
FOUNDRY
Funding the infrastructure nobody glamourises but everyone needs.
The Boring Essentials Fund
Running an organisation is expensive in ways funders rarely see. Accounting software, audits, corporate secretarial services, payroll, and other backend costs are often incurred before an organisation can operate well, grow sustainably, or receive more complex funding.
The Boring Essentials Fund exists to support these essential but often overlooked costs. It provides eligible organisations with up to S$2,500 in reimbursement-based support for backend expenses incurred during the claim period.
