The Majurity Conversations brings social impact leaders together to explore critical issues that need to be confronted and consider possible next steps for organisations to thrive.

We unpacked one of the social sector’s most-used, and often loaded, terms — Sustainability. We explored sustainability from two perspectives: building communities that can harness strengths and assets from within, and building social impact organisations that can continue doing meaningful work for the long term.

From harnessing community assets and partnerships, to rethinking how organisations are funded and supported, the conversations challenged us to look beyond financial sustainability alone.

We explored what sustainability looks like for social impact organisations, and what funders and donors look for when they increasingly ask about sustainability. How can social impact organisations rethink and tap on resources in the community to become more sustainable?
