Francis Ngai

Founder & CEO, Social Ventures Hong Kong

Francis Ngai is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Social Ventures Hong Kong, an impact purpose organisation focused on innovating social change for Hong Kong’s urban social challenges through pioneering impact ventures, aggregating impact capital and providing Business 2.0 consultancy.

Since its founding in 2007, SVhk has invented and incubated more than 40 social innovation projects, and advised several notable Hong Kong businesses. Previously, Ngai led corporate strategy at a listed technology conglomerate in Hong Kong. He also currently serves on AVPN’s Board of Advisors.

Shannon Farley

Executive Director, FastForward

Shannon Farley is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Fast Forward, the accelerator for tech nonprofits based in San Francisco. Investing in entrepreneurs who use technology for social impact, Fast Forward’s accelerator program has helped 70 tech nonprofits impact over 105M lives and raise $357M in follow-on funding.

Prior to Fast Forward, Farley was the founding Executive Director of Spark, the world’s largest network of Millennial philanthropists and 
co-founded The W. Haywood Burns Institute, 
a MacArthur Award-winning juvenile justice 
reform organization.

Bill Cromie

CEO, HelpKitchen

Bill Cromie is a social-impact tech entrepreneur. He’s currently the CEO of Helpkitchen.org, a non-profit dedicated to providing free, high quality, nutritious on demand hot meals to food insecure folks.

Prior to HelpKitchen, he founded Blue Ridge labs at Robin Hood, a non-profit technology incubator in Brooklyn that helps incredible people build products for underserved communities and people.

Lai Shanru

Co-Founder, ShopBack

Lai Shanru is one of the Co-Founders of ShopBack, 
Asia-Pacific’s leading shopping and rewards platform, and one of Singapore’s fastest growing startups. Initially starting her career in banking, she made the switch to the startup world to pursue more meaningful impact.

In just over 7 years, Lai and team scaled ShopBack to serve over 30 million customers across Asia Pacific, raising more than $125M in venture capital.

She was recently named to the Forbes’ ‘30 Under 30’ and Prestige Singapore’s ’40 Under 40′ List, for being a change-maker and leader in her field.
