In times of a global pandemic, hygiene is very important. Hence, our #SGStrong grantee, Trybe has decided to ensure that everyone has access to proper hygiene.
Engaging 50 of their youth clients, the team has managed to produce and pack 1,600 bottles of DIY hand sanitisers. They hope to reach the residents, hawkers and minimart shop owners of Seng Kang and Sembawang who are their immediate neighbours. As of right now, the team has already completed making and packing the 1,600 bottles. They hope that through this project, they will break the stigma of at-risk youth and inculcate a spirit of community togetherness amongst their clients.
“We want to strengthen the Singapore Spirit of caring for others, especially during this period. We know that there are people in the community who may not have access to hand sanitisers due to financial constrain. We want to take this opportunity to bless the community with a hand sanitiser”
In line with being socially responsible, the team has chosen to wait until the circuit breaker measures have been lifted before they distribute their hand sanitisers. Together, we are stronger than COVID-19.
