You might know this #SGStrong grantee from our previous blog post, but Audrey Wong is back with a different project to continue promoting personal hygiene to vulnerable elderly in the Bukit Timah constituency.
“In these tough times, it is most important to take care of the vulnerable and the elderly. It is good to volunteer and do charity.”
Following the philosophy of “give a man a fish and feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”, Audrey now plans on conducting workshops for the elderly so that they can make their own hand sanitisers. She wants to show that her DIY hand sanitisers are very easily reproduced, so that should the elderly ever run out, they can very easily make their own and it would be just as effective. Audrey’s second project is up and coming in the month of May, after the circuit breaker. Together, we are stronger than COVID-19.
